MEET-THE-FACE-BEHIND-TRAIN-SMART-FITNESS-_-HEALTH

I’m Shan Niazi, the proud owner of Train Smart Fitness & Health.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After finishing high school, I wasn’t happy with the direction that my life was taking, so I decided to get into fitness to improve my overall health and physical appearance.

It did the trick as it enhanced my mood, and I felt more confident in my abilities. I was now motivated to take on more significant challenges, so I enrolled at York University to study Kinesiology.

After graduating in 2016, I wanted to apply the biomechanical and psychological principles that I learned in my program in a real-life setting. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with organizations such as Bayshore Healthcare, Lifemark, the Victorian Order of Nurses, and InHomeTrainer Ltd. I also trained alongside some incredible athletes at York Muay Thai.

These experiences proved invaluable and convinced me to start my health and fitness enterprise on a part-time basis in 2018. After a successful twelve months, I felt I was ready to go all-in on my business.

When I first started offering training programs, I wasn’t sure if I had the capabilities to empower people to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Fast-forward three years, and I now have a clear vision and proven techniques to get the best results for my clients.

It’s rewarding to help clients hit milestones that they didn’t think they were capable of reaching, such as doing multiple push-ups or lifting barbells with the correct form. I aim for systematic gains by progressively increasing the reps, sets, weight, and difficulty of the exercise.

I hold myself accountable for my training methods, and I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I’m compassionate and can relate to my clients’ stories. I’m also honest when providing guidance and help them set smart goals.

My philosophy has earned immense respect from clients, and they trust me to keep them safe and fighting fit. It’s rewarding to witness huge smiles on my clients’ faces when they realize their full potential. It inspires me to treat every day as a new opportunity to seek improvement and move my business forward.

When I am not putting clients through their paces, I like to spend time with my family and close friends, and occasionally playing video games. I love planning trips, and I’ve recently become a fan of camping and cottaging.

I’ve enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
